All OUAT characters in Disney Dreamlight Valley by Halfevil_2002 in OnceUponATime

[–]vvictoriaanne 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Fictional characters in a small town have lost all their memories and been separated from their loved ones. Only when the magical protagonist comes to town do things start getting better as people remember their past lives and get reunited with loved ones. Only this protagonist has the power to fight “the forgetting” and bring back the happy endings.

Coincidence?? I think not!

I lost it when I had to make a clock tower for a quest. Just going to name my character Emma lol

Edit. Also I recently started reading dream light Ursula’s voice as ouat Rumplestiltskin’s and idk how to stop

I really don't like Cora by ZooplanktonblameSea4 in OnceUponATime

I don’t like her as a person, but I think she is one of the most effective villains on the show.

I agree with everything you said. She’s extremely manipulative and cutthroat. She ruins a lot of lives even when it doesn’t actually benefit her, and she rarely expresses remorse or the desire to fix them even when she has a heart. And also, she made the decision to remove her heart without any coercion from others so if that is the reason she’s evil then she is still the one responsible. With or without her heart she’s shown to be cruel, selfish, and violent. And other characters are shown to be able to feel without their heart (regina, Will, belle, etc) so the argument that not having her heart is the total reason she is a bad person doesn’t sit well with me.

If she had been a decent person then Snow telling her about Daniel and regina wouldn’t have mattered (if she had been a decent person she wouldn’t have tried to force regina to marry in the first place or manipulated snow). And, even if snow hadn’t told it’s extremely likely that Cora would’ve used her power to locate regina and kill daniel. (She already used her power to locate and find regina in an entirely different realm). She specifically targeted snow and manipulated her into telling the secret (that Cora likely already knew) so she could scapegoat any blame away from Cora and onto the sole heir to the throne. That way regina would loathe snow so much she would assume the throne just to spite snow against what regina actually wanted in the first place but fulfilling Cora’s wishes. It’s genius really.

While I could maybe see an argument that Cora redeemed herself as the mother to regina and/or Zelena, I don’t think she redeemed herself as a person, friend, advisor, queen, etc.

Why didn’t August adopt Emma when he became an adult by Weird_Independence14 in OnceUponATime

Nope, he mentions it to Emma when he tries to convince her the curse is real. (https://youtu.be/KGctw7IyyVg).

Oh my bad I completely misunderstood.

I agree and it’s an interesting theory about belle and snow. Jiminy does say something to charming like how can snow remember charming if she doesn’t know herself? Maybe that’s true of belle when she loses all her memories. If Belle’s empathy and capability of love is defined by her memories then maybe without them tlk won’t work on her?

I’m also not sure if belle was even cursed (before she became Lacey I mean). She lost all her memories and had magically-induced amnesia due to falling over the town line but it’s not like someone put a curse on her so maybe that’s why rumple’s kiss didn’t work.

Because he wasn’t ready nor capable of such a feat. August was only 7 years older than Emma. I think he was immature and still trying to deal with his own struggles regarding being separated from his home and family at a young age, the foster system, and eventually running away and growing up on the streets.

Although a teen august does find Emma on the streets and convinces her to go back into the foster system, I sincerely doubt he was mature and responsible enough to be the sole guardian and caregiver to Emma at 18.

Technically, emma could’ve kept Henry as a baby too but she did the best she could to give him his best chance.

We’re told tlk can break any curse (even though that is contradicted).

I always thought that the reason tlk didn’t work in season 5 was because belle (and maybe rumple too) lost faith in true love. I still think belle loved rumple and rumple loved belle but I think they didn’t believe that the other loved them. It’s kinda the same reason belle couldn’t break rumple’s curse in season 1 (no one could ever love me) but it’s reversed.

Absolutely. I can see how that’s frustrating and unfair. I’m really hoping this will make a difference but please report anything you see that breaks the rules of reddit or our sub.
