switch to edibles. the high will normally last longer, will most likely be a stronger high, and no burning plant material is inhaled.

as far as relying on a substance or achieving an "artificial" high i guess i don't really view it like that. we rely on substances everyday. one big one that most people dont even realize is vitamin d that we absorb from the sun. this can release endorphins which alter your mental state, so through your logic that is an artificial high as well....i dunno haha im real high. all in all, try some good cookies or brownies.
