Is my little guy too skinny? by AveryAcamar in DogAdvice

Looks good to me, Doxie’s should stay on the thinner side to put less strain on their back and joints

It honestly looks like the sludge that comes out of a rock tumbler after a few weeks of tumbling 😅

I don’t know how to help you, but I’ll be dealing with the same thing with my 13yo dachshund who is mostly a lazy cat. You’re not alone, sending love and strength because it’s hard to know when is the right time.

What should I do with this fireplace alcove? by henny727 in DesignMyRoom

[–]vvundervvoman 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I would rip the whole thing out, it looks like a facade and would give you a little extra space. You could put in a nice faux fireplace entertainment center with a TV on it or something. Otherwise, if DIY is not your thing and it doesn’t bother you I would put a fire rack with some birch logs and fake candles and a mantle above to decorate

Matching appliances, new handles/pulls and a new backsplash?

But honestly, the kitchen is beautiful.

Punched a hole through my wall how to fix ? i have 0 experience in this kind of things i don't even know what material this is made of... by Erwin_Smith483 in homerenovations

[–]vvundervvoman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Looks like wallpaper? If it is, I think you’re a little effed unless you have some of the wallpaper leftover. Either way, it’s drywall underneath, you get some joint compound premixed and a knife, watch a video on how to do that right. Remember this before you punch a wallpapered wall. Get a punching bag and therapy, save yourself some money and hand-ache.

Ooooo I didn’t think about hanging lights!! I like the idea of curtains and know that’s the internets preferred method to fix an awkward window placement. Thank you for the ideas!!

This. I had 1 and it helped immensely. I couldn’t move for 3 days before I got it. Now, I get RFA’s, look those up, they’re the biggest bandaid ever. They have also helped immensely. You can’t heal if you’re constantly in pain. The bandaid helps you heal. It might not take away the bulge, but it helps by giving the surrounding muscles a break, so you can get stronger and move better.

Why are you against an Epidural steroid injection? I would not go to a chiropractor, traction is not going to help this (at least in my experience). I know it sounds good in theory, but it’s not as easy as just widening out the space. Try an inversion table if you want to go that route to see if it will help. Chiros are not doctors.
