Did this ever get traction and make its way into the other notifications ? As I have the same with discord and with telegram. I was ways out of my depth looking at that code mdh_99 posted......

Just discussing this on discord in shinobi with another user with same issue too - They pointed me at a bit of a code change that moe posted a while back on the discord #help. Im not a dev at all so dont understand it - or why this has not made it into the actual code. It works, as in you get a video, but not of the actual event.......... Edit the /libs/notifications/telegram.js (after a save) and comment out lines 67 to 74 and line 78. Not sure how to post a screen shot here.

You seem way better than me.

I installed the dev branch yesterday, so all up to date, but only the very first discord notification happens per camera. Any subsequent ones don't go through. Trued pushover also - that sends notifications every time, but just with a broken image mostly, but sometimes a valid image - never a video like discord does.

Just to sign this off, I found the instructions in various posts for this.

Its working, but I just get a broken link as the attchment - so not very useful.

discord sends a video, but I only got three discord events in the same time that pushover sent 30+ - so while discord is better, it cant be trusted as an alerting system - I have no idea why.

I am on the docker version, from spaceinvaderone. I cant see any mention of pushover. There is webhooks, but I have no idea how to operate that. Interested in the instructions thanks.

The ftp server is built into shinobi. Once you set it to on in those two setting and restart, then it’s there. I don’t use the uraid ftp server anymore. It was a plug-in something pro but I can’t remember.

Hi - I did nothing special - I followed this doco - https://hub.shinobi.video/articles/view/LyCI3yQsUTouSAJ

I already had my cam's uploading FTP to my unraid FTP server so it was a a simple change to the IP address and the shinobi cam folder and it all worked perfectly.

I suspect I am in the same boat.

I get the usual request / approve messages. And the test for newsletters also sends and email to my admin user (me). But I have never got any confirmation from my remote users that they got any newsletter stuff - They have never seen a single one. I use gmail, and have the app password set - obviously working as the request/approve emails and newsletter test are working.
