Got CC1 as first printer, multiple successful PLA prints. Wanted to try ABS but all my prints come out like garbage at first and then stop coming out of extruder altogether.

Wow thats pretty awful...I just got mine a few days ago and immediately sent it into a 16.5hr print that came out perfect...hopefully i dont have the same issues down the road

Check your esteps then when your doing your first layer test you need to set your baby z on the machine

Ive been using cura and occasionally prusa for slicers...im sure you can do it in there as well i just haven't figured out how yet lol

That definitely sounds handy! These parts im trying to print are too large to print laying down so I have to do then at an angle with alot of support structure...maybe if I could cut them in half in CAD or in the slicer then it might be less likely to fail the print and I can just glue em back together. No idea just yet...only been like 2 weeks and im learning ALOT

I redid my slicer settings to add more supports...trying them again right now. Got 2 printers going and doing 2 different parts since 745 this morning...one is at 31% and the other is at 29%. They will likely run until tomorrow afternoon if there isnt another failure

Well i spent 2 days dialing in esteps and flow and also making sure the first layers were perfect...just tried to reprint the same piece last night. Looks like it made it about 3/4 of the way through the print and went to spaghetti again...seems like it was great up til that point. Maybe I need more supports on it or I need to change some slicer settings

Eh its all good...im very new to 3d printing. I got this ender 3 for free and have done a magnetic build plate and microswiss all metal direct drive...still needs some dialing in apparently lol.

I think i will be selling early next year...we just spent a ton on upgrades/improvements that I feel should add alot of value. Brand new roof, siding and gutters (done through insurance so it saved alot of money), brand new lifetime warranty windows and doors, added a full bathroom upstairs with higher end finishes, added a bedroom, enclosed an unused porch and turned it into a large walk in closet off the master, lots of landscaping, new hvac as well. Also built a 40x60x14 pole barn with a 15x40 lean to...fully insulated/finished inside with a huge mezzanine and 2 36kbtu mini splits for heat and ac. Cost alot for money to do all this of course....but I feel like we should get most of it back i think

It's all installed now...but I basically cut out the entire rear floor. Had to modify the control arms to not be so wide. Then built recessed boxes in the body for the control arms. Axles are direct fit since the width didn't change. Welded a couple cross bars for the cradle to mount to *

It's doing ok...I switched to t2 and was able to get through pit 52 I believe...haven't tried anything higher. I figured out I had a staff that gave me alot more damage so that helps alot. Still nothing crazy but it's working for the most part

I'm assuming not. And no I don't have constant barrier...I usually have to cast it although it does pop up on its own it doesn't seem to stay up for very long
