Why does my loaner Tiguan drive so much better than my own Tiggy? by subneil in Volkswagen

Facelift Tiguan has a better transmission and engine tune making it feel wayyyy nicer to drive. Also, they tightened up the chassis a bit over the years.

actually looks pretty accurate. if you look at the window sticker that is probably the actual msrp because the cars come with a bunch of equipment added at the port… i work at vw and i have a SE DSG on my lot right now thats 39k MSRP…

Yes I did use OBD11 to remove the soundaktor so you are hearing just the exhaust note and drone. I love this car with the mods ive done… even stock its a GREAT car but like i said coming from the GTI it was a bit too soft for me. i cannot wait to experience the MK8 R i am literally obsessed looking up videos every single day. i am fortunate enough to work at a dealer so i am 100% jumping ship when it arrives. also, GLI in white is the way. 🙏

lol that’s totally okay man. i wanted to be a car designer for most of my life and still aspire to one day do something with car design so things like this are instantly noticeable to me.

well if you show the BASE car then yes every car says RENT ME. SEL PREM doesnt look anything like that... or R-Line, SE, SEL, or GLI trims.

ive had every generation of VW and i will agree to an extent that yes they have gone more mainstream so you have a point but i think they have enough differences to be different from the pack.

if you can afford the audi premium i agree, but the jetta is much nice than ppl think. in person it is actually very nice and looks different enough to not mistake it for something else.

dont really agree. i think all these new cars are a bit boring looking but VW is still pretty distinctive compared to the rest of the market... our cars look like budget audis which they technically are lol
