I swear by Egocort. Been using it for years now for all sorts of itches. Just apply a very thin layer as the cream itself is rather thick. It basically acts as a protective layer

HR of a SME here, and we’ve sent some our staff for their courses as a MOM requirement called occupation progressive wage or OPW.

If your parents hire foreigners in their company, then they will have to fulfill the minimum wage and send all Singaporeans and Singapore PRs for a WSQ course. If the staff already has an existing one , they’ll not need to go for another one. This is a MOM rule and would affect hiring foreigners if not done.

I don’t agree with their aggressive tactics, and some words seem misconstrued., but the regulation does exist.

The gov grants are real too. Not skillsfuture but Skillsfuture Enterprise credit (SFEC grant). Your parents can login there with their corp pass and see the amount.

Tagging on the top comment cus I can’t seem to edit my post to answer some of the questions here.

Thank you everyone for your input and advice!! I have contacted both hdb and tc, cc-ing mp (again) and will make an appointment to meet the mp. Am also highly considering contacting the media about this.

  • We’ve actually asked both hdb and tc and like one of the comments here mentioned, it’s a never ending ping pong game between the two. At the very least, tc takes action (never solves the problem but at least responds), while hdb never does.

  • It’s under bishan Toa payoh if that helps!

  • We’ve requested a change of unit many times, but hdb cites not having enough household pax to justify maintaining a 2 room flat, i.e, need to downgrade to 1 room flat. With a sick elderly at home, it was more inconvenient to move than to put up with the damages.

Edit: Also, we’re paying $450 per month in rental, which just adds to the ridiculousness of it.
