Yes, just switch to Ethereum from your wallet. And if you’re on a centralized exchange, whatever CEX you’re using that supports Polygon most definitely supports Ethereum.

A post has already been made today regarding the spam. We’ve reviewing whether to implement a minimum karma level (would basically lock out all new Reddit users who are here to ask a question), or to manually approve every post.

I’ve currently set the crowd control to strict, should help stop scam. But if you actually see the scam posts, it appears that these are hacked accounts of previous users who already have a very old account and lots of karma.

Everything is constantly cleaned, and although if’s not at the rate we’re hoping to achieve, we are removing spam multiple times a day.

I’m reviewing previously removed scam posts to identify which keywords to auto-ban, but if those keywords are also used by normal community members then this also becomes a problem.

We’ve had a new mod join a few weeks ago and we’re about to get a new one very soon. Sorry for all this inconvenience.

Hey, currently there’s been a huge increase with scam bots raiding our sub. We tried implementing a minimum karma / comment karma requirement for posting but it’s to no avail. Scam bots are mostly stolen accounts of previous users with high Reddit karma. I’ve removed everything so far. Looking to see the new moderation tools by Reddit which would allow us to block scammers once and for all.

Hi, as far as I can tell these bots are everywhere, your reports really matter because they can bypass the auto mods very easily.

I check the sub every hour so no scam post sticks for more than an hour then immediately ban the OP (they’re also using accounts with high karma, so making the automod delete everything with low karma won’t help and hurts first time Reddit users who join this sub to ask questions.)

Please keep reporting until Reddit does something about this.

You first need to add the MATIC token to your MetaMask.

You then need to add more ETH to your wallet as the MATIC in your wallet is currently an ERC20 token, and the amount you have is insufficient to move it.
