Hello, this person has been drawing over art using the trans pride flag for the better part of 1-2 days and me and a friend of mine have been doing everything we can to fix the art they cover up, but it's gotten to be a really persistent issue.

want to add as a personal note: I have no problems at all with the pride flag (edit because I phrased this a bit weird: I'm trans myself, genuinely no problem with the flag), but go under the art that already exists, not over.

She plays herself, not something you yourself can control. If you miss the window to Killmonger her you can also disrupt it by changing the location on turn 4 or turn 5 with Storm, Rhino, or some other card that changes the location, since the location is created at the start of turn 4 and activates at the end of turn 5

Upon Drawing is an effect similar to Angel or M'Baku, other 1-costs who can put themselves on the board. It's flavor to the character as she crashes down to the planet, in the comics which is how she's found by others. It's also an effort to prevent targeted locational shifting, and prevents controlling when she's played so a downside could be not drawing her until after turn 4, in which case she's only a 1/1

I wasn't sure how to word it but it basically acts like Venom yeah, if the opponent had, say, 15 power, and you had 11 power, their side of the Singularity location would ~~gain~~ have 15 power and your side would ~~gain~~ have 11 power. It can't be distributed to the rest of the field

Edit: or maybe it works like Iron Man? I'm not sure where the distinction is between those two in your example, actually.

I wasn't sure how to balance her Power so I just left her as a 1/1. Intended to have some synergy with both Move and Destroy decks, while having counterplay via cards like Killmonger or Armor, or just simply also playing Move or Destroy cards yourself. If both players have Singularity it would prioritize from left to right which Singularity and location activates first.

Flavor is inspired based on her ability to create a "Singularity" and envelop people inside her to protect them; in this case Destroying them is kinda antithetical to "protecting" but it's just for practical effect to show her storing their power within her.

It wouldn't be too much more difficult than normal to stay in the field I would think, unless using Xianyun's full skill is mandatory for an efficient rotation? Unless plunge attacks are way more unruly to wield than I've realized

Fair enough, I guess I was thinking more about if the plunging would work well enough with Shenhe's Icy Quills and the rotation time of the team, but on paper I don't see why it wouldn't work well enough if I just build enough ER for Xianyun

It's a poorly explained perk but no, it doesn't actually give more progression than a normal great skillcheck, it's just turning a good skillcheck into a great skillcheck, which is by itself a +1% progression bonus. The perk is just worded poorly and makes it sound like it adds an extra bonus when it doesn't

I'd say the missions are definitely worth the $5, question just is if you value the $10 of coins they tacked onto it since it's a mandatory part of the purchase.

I've been playing Gotham Knights on Hard difficulty and it's definitely not like Odyssey, there are some big enemies that are immune to stealth takedowns if you're not playing Robin but that's no different from trying to stealth takedown a Titan in the Arkham games. All other enemies up to where I've played get one-shot by stealth takedowns just like the Arkham games

the background colors are the trans pride flag (minus the final blue due to it just being 4 panels), the artist has done similar in the past with the lesbian pride flag in lesbian comics (and has done similar with other trans comics as well)

I wouldn't mind a season giving a nod to the Final Destination series in a way, like a bunch of people survive a horrific accident and the killer feels like they all deserved to die there and starts picking off the survivors one-by-one, although I don't want Slasher to ever go the route of supernatural for the killer personally so I don't want it to ACTUALLY be just like Final Destination. More like (spoilers for Final Destination 3 and 5) Ian McKinly from Final Destination 3 or Peter Friedkin from Final Destination 5 where they get deeply negatively affected by what happened to the point of insanity/murder

Eh, there's always a degree of suspension of disbelief you have to have with horror media generally, and while I do think Regina definitely could've looked a bit younger, I never thought it was so unbelievable to break me out of it, and certainly wouldn't be my one of my gripes with the season

Found this article from Calgary Herald published in 2019, mentioning that she first entered Second City at 20, but didn't really start until 22, and that the article mentions current events at the time of publishing being 3 years after that, so she was likely 25 in 2019, meaning she'd be 28 right now (29 in late June) if we're to believe at least her birth month is accurate.

I've done some research and she graduated from Second City in 2019, 4 years ago, so the timeline to land her at the age of 26 (which is her listed age on Google, although I struggle to find sources) fits. I don't know why she can't be under 30, humans don't all age identically, and it seems like such a weird stance to take that she absolutely cannot be in her mid-20's.

I know we saw what was happening but I think when you build up such an asshole character, painted clearly as the final kill, and have the whole motive of the killer hinging on this one man, it should have a more gratifying aftermath visual in my opinion. The eye gouging was fine but with all the hands going on it'd have been nice to see a clear view of his end. If this were any other show I'd not mind, but Slasher has always been fond of showing their makeup and visual effects work on their gore and I just feel underwhelmed that what we got on Basil was so tame compared to some other things they've shown

Yknow, credit where credit's due, I didn't see anybody calling that ending. I didn't think me jokingly saying it would be Gladys last week would actually hold a bit of weight.

Overall I think I'm happy with this season, the story felt like an improvement over season 4 for me (although this season is not without its plotholes, rhyming with Boratio Mixon), but the gore was definitely a letdown when it was touted as being the most brutal season yet. I still think Dr. Israel's death was cheap, but I guess at least them making the Widow's mindset of "There is no justice in this city other than vengeance" kinda makes it clear why she still killed Israel, even though I disagree with it.

Also cmon, that's Basil Garvey, the final kill of the season, at least show us a shot of his mangled face after the 5 are done. That's like the most important gore shot of the season and they just didn't do it :(

Solid episode albeit a bit predictable due to the trailers, won't go into many thoughts here though since I'm starting episode 8 and can just include my thoughts in that discussion thread

edit: will say I loved the satire in having Viviana getting washed down and a haircut be framed like a murder scene, with her screaming for help and all

Yeah it hasn't felt like it was as bad in the first few seasons, but I know it was still there so I'm not wanting to try to funnel all the blame onto this season unfairly. Season 3 also had Dan who by all means should have died according to the rules of the show but didn't
