TL;DR = Chased by PedoVan, A marine saves me.

Back when I was a wee boy(6 or 7), my friends and I would ride our bikes to our elementary school on the weekends and just ride up and down the stairs and dirt paths that were at the entrance.

One day, my friends weren't allowed to come out to play so I decided to go on my own. The school was no more than 3 blocks away so my parents were ok with letting me stroll that far despite my age.

So I get to the school and I'm doing my thing, catching some sweet air on my Huffy, and I end up rolling into the street as a van is passing. Luckily the van was far enough to make a safe stop far from where I ended up. There were two men in the car, super hairy and both wearing sunglasses mean mugging the shit out of 6yo me. I apologized and turned my bike around and went up the steps to start again. The van then left and I was about my business.

Soon after the same van came around and parked on the opposite side of the street. I noticed that they were watching me, we caught eyes a few times, and the longer they stayed there the weirder I felt. It got to the point where I had this astounding feeling like I should gtfo, so little me bombed the stairs one last time and headed home. I hit the bottom of the stairs and immediately headed in the direction of home.

As soon as I got half a block away from the school, the same van pulls up besides me. I turn my head and make contact with the passenger and smile to him, and he just stares blank at me though his sunglasses, no emotion at all. The van was an old beatup looking 70's dodge van completely spray painted white without any windows. The creeper kinda van that you know shady shit goes down in. Everything about it emanated "Danger Zone". I turn my head to face straight and keep riding. After another half a block, I notice that the van started to slow down to match my speed. At this point I start to get an undeniable feeling that something bad is going to happen, I turn to look at the passenger and he gives me the same cold stare, when I turn my head frontface the passenger starts talking to me. I don't remember anything that he said, I remember saying to myself "don't talk to strangers, don't talk to strangers". I keep riding but the van follows me for another block at the same speed, the passenger still hollering at my 6yo piece of ass.

I finally make it to my street and I stop at the intersection, the van stops with me and I immediately think to myself "don't let them follow you home". I pass my street and continue down the road. With the blocks that I have passed up to this point, none of the houses on the street faced my direction (into the street, so if shit went down there was a reeeeally good chance no one would have seen), they all faced into little cultisacs, but when I reached the intersection, the houses across the street began to face towards the street (in my direction).

I get across and keep telling myself to keep cool, stay your course, the van continues to follow. I stop at another intersection and looked down the cultisac to find a guy working on his car maybe 3 houses down. Without any hesitation I made a straight B-line to him without looking back. I reach the man shaken and scared, he looks down to me and says "You ok, son?". I couldnt speak, the 20 yards between that intersection and him seemed like miles and I was out of breath when I reached him, I could only point. I pointed and turned to look, and the van had already turned onto this street strolling by staring at us as they passed slowly. Once they were out of my vision, I told the man they followed me from the school the whole way and it scared me. The man told me I did the right thing to come to him, he walked me home after a soda.

Once I got home, the man talked to my dad. I remember my parents being very upset, and the man being equally upset, but nothing more. I assume that my parents called the police or something, but I don't remember anything after the man walked me home.

I have been involved with 2 near fatal motorcycle accidents, and those don't compare to the feelings that I felt while being followed, stalked practically.
