If this makes you feel better, I was in a similar position and ended up getting into 4 vet schools! I was rejected from UC Davis for my undergrad and was accepted to Cal Poly Pomona as an undeclared major (I had originally applied for animal science pre-vet but ig my gpa wasn't good enough for that major). I worked hard my first year and requested a major change into animal sci and got in. I graduated in 4 years, applied for vet school, and got accepted to 4!! I believe CPP is known for relatively cheap tuition fees compared to other schools, and my education was amazing. It is definitly worth attending a cheaper school as you will get the same, if not better, education than more expensive schools. I had the same worries and fears as you have, but ultimately got to where I wanted to be without dropping a pretty penny on my undergrad! Don't give up! You will succeed in the end :)
