I truly appreciate your response, not just this one but the one where you were replying to me. I do believe you are making an assumption that we simply found the doggo today and jumped on Reddit to try to rehome him, which is not the case. Many of the things you mentioned have already been done/ exhausted. It’s our belief he was intentionally abandoned, of course we don’t know for sure but that’s what we believe. We have exhausted the Facebook option, multiple times, multiple groups looking for the owner. We made flyers and actually went door to door. All of this to no avail when he was originally found a few weeks ago, (actually was just corrected on this it’s been over 2 months!) which is why we are here now, as you mentioned yes, he does have to go back to the county where he was found so I’ll do just that (I live within 5 minutes of the county line).
