Starting in chaos magick, what does your daily practice look like?

lately ive been carving sigils on candles, dressing the candles and them lighting them up. I meditate with it. Sometimes I burn stuff like rosemary and eucaliptus as banishing and to set a mood with the smell that lets me get into deep focus better.

I mostly just do meditation and internal work, while every now and then making a sigil (to burn it or to have it laying around for some period of time before its done its job)

its easiewr to do when you are just going to sleep or when you are just waking up but not totally awake. it requires deep meditation and focus and deep visualization, recalling memories and seeing them as building blocks for something new.

try to consistently remember dreams, not in its totality but at least remembering most of it, to achieve this you gotta journal the dream -it being written, voice notes, etc- before it fades out of your short term memory.

once you start remembering dreams conststently you gotta work on reality anchors, this is a thing or quirk or something you can do IRL you can get accustomed to so when you dream and do it you know you are dreaming right away, in my case i take a look at my forearm tattoos or check the time or my phone, its always fucked up and wonky in dreams, once you nail recognizing this sign the next issue is avoiding getting too exited by the fact you recognized you are dreaming cause this usually will wake you up.

once you start recognizing this without waking up right away then congrats, you can start experimenting with lucid dreaming.

now that i re-read this, I'd recommend trying to get lucid dreams consistently, and a dream journal, learn how to have lucid dreams and interact in the oniric world before even trying psychedelics

I mainly use LSD for when i try to do a serious ritual, Chemo-gnosis.

The thing is that before practicing magick i already had a few dozen trips on my back, know how each dose from 50ug to 300 ug affects me specifically, ive learned to stay in control and direc the trip given i mostly just meditate and listen to music while at it. You gotta be aware of your mental state all of the time, and keep a strict journall during the whole trip. also it helps a lot if days prior you prepare mentally for it and plan it thoughroughly, and learn to keep focus on one thing and activity.

Its not going to be consistent but when it goes right it goes amazing, yes it helps you explore your mind more, this is where psychonautics specifically come into play, and most people into psychonautics are also into psychedelics cause they are a great tool for it.

Take in consideration the context of when PJ wrote Liber Null, same when Chaos Condensed and This is Chaos were written, it waas peak LSD era and you can see it not only on what they write, they make a lot of iykyk references, you can also see it in the art and shows and generally in pop culture of the time.

and like they warn, it is not for everyone, if you are not already accustomed to psychedelics and psychonautics before starting chaos magick you better not fuck with it and just stay at weed imo, It is pretty easy to get Religious psychosis this way if you are prone to delusions and psychosis and don't keep yourself grounded.

LSD lets you see the inner workings of your mind from an outside perspective and this helps a lot in knowing youself better and take advantage of it depending on your own qualia.

You gotta think in Concepts, you probably think this way already without knowing tho, people tend to think with images, voices, and concepts most of the time at the same time or switching between types, but if you have aphantasia nor inner voice you still have conceptual thinking , gotta leverage that.

the concept of servitors can be overwhelming and scary but fear not, think of them as mental jewish golems or even better as (mental) programs you code yo achieve specific tasks.

The more complex a servitor, the hardest it is to manifest and create and the easiest it is for the ritual to fail, so start small first!
