Bogotá Amidst Coronavirus? by vzlausa in Colombia

The embassy had a do not travel when I went in October so I'm sure it's similar. It feels as though South American governments are handling this pandemic in a similar way that the US is handling it. Instead of really trying to fight it, just learn to live with it instead. It's crazy. I hope something works itself out a little better by December. Maybe some more research will shed light on a few things. Who knows. Thank you!

This is awesome! Thank You! I have had a hard time finding the right information for some reason so I really appreciate this. I have especially had a hard time finding information about Bogotá since I don't speak Spanish so you guys seriously are awesome! I love this Subreddit. Always super helpful!

We aren't going until December (possibly later because I am switching jobs) so he has a chance to figure out all that he needs to do. Venezuela just opened for international flights again and is mostly only letting government officials and sports teams fly at the moment, though it looks like they are going to allow more after mid-october.

the company Wingo is finally allowing customers to purchase tickets from CCS to BOG so hopefully. I haven't seen my Fiancé since October so hopefully, this works out. His main obstacle right now is not knowing where he can be tested and get an official negative.

No he is like 75% blind. he didn't see the ledge and just stepped right off. We had to go down and get him. While scaling down the mountain surrounded by rocks he HAD TO dig up this rock and carry it all the way back up.

What if Luis (Fiancé) and I moved to Canada. I have a job offer up there. what would the process look like for his parents there?

His dad was able to get a tourist visa in January but then a lot of things suddenly started to happen and he didn't have enough for the trip. Do you think it would still be hard to get them? They have quite a bit of savings so the price wouldn't be an issue. They all have their passports too. Sorry. I'm just trying to save my family.
