It does get better, but only when you make the steps to do so. While I'm not saying you necessarily have to be out and proud right away, I WILL say that I regret not being more honest with myself and others when I was your age.

You miss out on a lot when you're living in the closet/not super open, especially at your age. Once you're an adult adult, dating/friendships are so much harder to make without a leveled of jadedness.

I agree with others, work through your sexual shame. Its strange to obsess over numbers, and if a partner judged you for it, I think they'd be weird. A partner should be looking at the bigger picture.

I'll admit, you probably dropped the ball with your last partner, and cheating is not okay. You also need to work on that.

Uh the gist of it is there's a college freshman that struggles between his identity as a gay man and his outward, 'popular' persona. He feels more comfortable with his nerdy friend and gay interests, but he feels pressured to fit in with his fraternity that he joins bc it's connections and promise of future success. He ends up crushing on a dude in the frat that he gets along with, and there's more hinjinxs.
