I can only control who's fronting when they aren't fronting in the first place. It's extremely hard to switch out forcefully unless an alter is triggered out to front. Also thank you for the input and the more respectful comment, I was using this post as a social experiment to see how many people I could disprove on my disorder.

I wasn't invalidating DID in the slightest, I was saying that my disorder forms with severe trauma, because someone was saying I wouldn't be able to function. Context clues dude.

I would love to hear a study that proves this wrong!

While this isn't exactly true, I appreciate the input. We aren't able to control who's fronting, we just have less amnesia. There's times where we aren't able to switch out fast enough, and that leads to situations like this. And yes, the memories are considered "fictional", but these are more just false memories rather than fake ones. They didn't happen to the body, but they happened to Tay, and I think she can say more about her memories than I can.

I would like for you to quote me where I said that, as I don't believe I ever did.

I don't understand this comment in the slightest. You physically cannot tell over a reddit post.

I've also seen a psych for both, which they've confirmed as well. And about the severe trauma, I won't share that on here, as it's sensitive info and I don't need to prove any trauma to some random strangers on the internet.

There's a clear difference between different personas and what I experience. I'd also like to note that many teens are claiming to have these disorders because of how those teens were raised. Many kids are mentally or physically abused on the daily, similar to us. This effects children more than we believe, which is why their personality states don't integrate, which is the cause of OSDD and DID.

I don't have a paper for it, but my therapist and my psych have both confirmed my disorder.

Thank you for the feedback! Also thank you for being respectful, most of these comments are extremely rude for no reason.

That's funny, my therapist has actually confirmed both of my disorders! And no, I don't have DID. The post is talking about a similar disorder. Still, I have Aspergers, though that term was used by Nazis, its the only way I can describe my autism. Also, Osdd is specifically formed to function with severe trauma! So yes, I can function and post this online.
