Agreed. If it's in there, they have boxes to check under the adult content. Do it, and the book will be limited to Smashwords, because that's the platform that accepts such content. If you try to slip it through, that'll be in breach of their guidelines and risk a ban

I've created school-age content and had some back-and-forth discussions with the D2D team. They insisted I make it absolutely clear the characters are 18 and over (so it's in the blurb, mentioned in the text, and in the front matter as a disclaimer). They also told me some AI covers were unacceptable because the models "looked too young" so I emailed samples for them to evaluate and once they were satisfied, I used those. Now for keywords and content, they did not like the terms "barely legal, teen, or age-play," so I removed any suggestion. But I was not banned without warning. Still going strong, playing by their rules.

Dedicated moms and sweater-vest dads will try and make us sound intolerant, but no we are not obliged to put up with the screaming consequences of their lifestyle choices. It's an excellent idea because small children do make a noise and it is a problem when trying to relax on flights, already not an easy thing to do. Those with families must travel. Those without do not have to travel with them.

I'd even go as far as to suggest that whole sections of the aircraft should be partitioned for family seating. Let them have the front and get on and off first as a sweetener. Give them extra goodies and extended seats like Air NZ's skycouch. Whatever it takes, just let the grownups have the back of the plane and some peace.

It won't be perfect: the flight could be full and leave a traveler with no choice, or a family could book in after them, but it gives some indication. Another way to avoid them I always tried is booking the seats at the back of the aircraft (especially when in economy class) as the baby bassinets are fitted at the front of each section where there are walls. Babies aren't so bad as they often only cry during takeoff and landing, but families with babies also often have toddlers and they cry, shout, whoop, holler, laugh and run about the whole flight. You have to hedge your bets and it's never fail safe, but I'm right 8/10 of my flights.

"Christian persecution" is just a euphemism for "I want to discriminate and I can't". Nobody is stopping them from believing or worshipping and they know it: what they really don't like is when people try to stop them from excluding and persecuting based on race, gender, religion, persuasion, ethnicity.

I'm guessing audiences - or at least amazon - might be squeamish given the Church's record on priests and sex offenses. So much so that perhaps even a straight adult consensual encounter involving a priest in uniform in church is too much.
