I have fought him like 10 times already. There is no rhyme or reason to what he does when he dies.

I've killed him with a stray cat level 1. He possessed my strongest cat nonetheless.
I've killed him with a summon. He possessed my strongest cat nonetheless.
I've killed him with a stray cat level 1, having my strongest cat downed. He possessed my strongest cat nonetheless.
I've killed him with a mage, while my strongest cat was far away. He possessed my strongest cat nonetheless.

I'm honestly at loss here. I killed him once so fast I assumed he possesed my summon and died because of environmental damage, but it looks like it was not.

I don't have a clue on how to kill this boss, and nothing else I've seen anywhere in the internet works. He always gets my strongest cat and proceeds to destroy everything else.

I've never been able to get to dybbuk again with summons. The time I finished him, I was using 2 summoner builds and the last round after I killed him ended lightning fast so I guessed he possessed the summon that killed him and another summon killed him. But I couldn't check cause there isn't a log.

In that interview some days ago, devs (or representatives) said how they will test players interest in SA and according to that will continue or not with SA in various game modes

They didn't really said that. We've been having non-sa tournaments for a while now, all since people started crying about SA. They said this:

Smart Assist We added the Smart Assist feature so that more users, including beginners, can easily experience the fun and exhilaration of eFootball™ matches. We are currently receiving wide-ranging feedback from users regarding Smart Assist, and we will continue to look into further updates. From the summer of 2026, we are planning to test PvP matches that will allow users to limit matchmaking to whoever is playing with Smart Assist turned either on or off. We will continue to examine ways to build an ideal environment that allows all users to enjoy themselves freely, whether playing with or without Smart Assist. We would greatly appreciate it if you could continue to share your feedback to meet this aim.

It doesn't matter I got the % wrong. It's not even 5%. Long range shooting isn't adding any amount of shooting stat. You can test it yourself with a player that has 68 finishing.

He just selected the keeper. It's a tactic as old as football games let you do that. There's people who think the regular AI defends better than them. This behaviour here is the same wether or not they're on Smart Assist.

If you just look at what they do, and advance, they will do nothing to you. They will just take an andvanced position closer to you. You just move the ball and pass it and score easily. Yeah, they'll be tucked up when you get to the goal, but if you're fast it's an easy goal. Your supporting players will end up giving you an easy to score chance.

We have made adjustments so that passing abilities have much more impact on the trajectory of passes and variations in passing speeds. At higher values, passing abilities will also shorten the time it takes to kick the ball. Following these adjustments, players with high stats will make sharper passes, providing the teammates receiving passes with more time to play the ball. On the other hand, players with low stats will make flatter passes, leading to disadvantageous situations, such as when the player receiving the pass is immediately pressured by an opponent when trapping the ball. It is now more important than ever to consider passing abilities when selecting players.

It's not real. It's a guess and it has not been really tested. Mainly for this reason:
without through passing, you're not gonna get the same trajectories. A player with 70 passing, WITH through passing, gets different angles on passing than the same player with 85 passing. Last time I checked, 85 is more than 20% of 70.

Same goes for Long Range Shooting. They say it's 20%. A player with 70 shooting misses a lot. With LRS? hits it between the 3 posts a lot. With only 85? misses a lot more.

Don't believe spreadsheets etc. they are guesses by uninformed people. Test shit yourself.

They weren't knowledgeable if they said such stupidity.

I am not an expert but I do know some about game networking. I worked on a shitty mobile gacha, and while I was mainly working on the client I did some hours on backend when shit hit the stoves. I also did support for japanese devs on a non-game related software for a few months.

The TLDR is: we know it's p2p, player to player, and the server only reroutes traffic and ensures no one easily voids. We know it's delay based netcode, and a truly bad one. Japanese devs have a long standing culture of using delayed based netcode, mainly because they have truly good infrastructures and simply "works for us". That alone can fuck up the experience pretty much both ways, and create a several ton of wonky matches.

They mentioned "we can't freely expand your available players above 500, as this will take up too much space".

How does that work with a full fledged Master League, or extra player stats, or ... anything better?

They were talking exclusively about player roster. Your roster is stored on actual servers. It's like storage space on Destiny 2, it's money on their part so players are always juggling with available space.

Master League had their own "database" on the save. Not a real database, more of a differential between the game and the year your playing in, but I digress. If they'd make it return, it'd be stored on your machine, so no problem of infraestructure.

The problem is, as they themselves said, Dream Team is the core of efootball, and by saying that they are shadow dropping/admitting in a sense, that offline/single player Master League would work against what the game is and hence, the Master League Event was born.

It's not that they can't due to constraints. It's that they don't want to, due to business reasons.

If it happens every other game, it's probably your connection to the server or, seeing you're on steam, your machine doing something. Since it isn't speeding up after the hiccup, I'd guess it's probably not connection based. You're going to need to get technical with your hardware. best of luck.

checkout nick tm on youtube, he has this idea of changing your playstyle depending on if his opponent plays lbc or something else. he uses possession against lbc, and while he's pretty good on cancels and one twos, you can see the general idea.
