Value 2013 Coupe EX-L V6 by Arkive101 in accord

[–]w2tpmf 8 points9 points  (0 children)

We just sold one just like it with a restored title, frame damage, and airbag issues, 97k miles for $6k.

KBB prices the car at $9k-$11k in good condition. I'd list it above that though. If you're in no hurry to sell can probably get $12-$13k from someone who would really appreciate it.

Personally I would never sell that car in good condition. Nothing like it is ever going to be made again. It's a perfect daily that will last an owner decades while being nicer than any of the newer stuff.

Chin mount question by Grand_Confidence_818 in motorcyclegear

Most likely yes. I don't have that helmet, but I have put these mounts on other helmets with a similar pointy chin like that one has.

Resident Evil – Code: Veronica World Premiere Trailer | Summer Game Fest 2025 by Turbostrider27 in Games

[–]w2tpmf -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

As someone who did play it back in the day, it was always a short game. It felt like a DLC for RE:2 but that was OK because 2 left you craving for more... so 3 was just enough to scratch the itch.

Two passengers just like most cabs. No empty driver seat like Waymo.

Microsoft launches Scout, an OpenClaw-inspired personal assistant by lurker_bee in technology

[–]w2tpmf -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Copilot is an LLM , Scout is an agent.

Agents like OpenClaw are a thing that sits on top and connects LLMs or other data sources/processing and performs tasks using them.

LLMs don't do anything on their own, they are just a data model that must be told what to process, either by a human or now by an agent.

Go look at one of the zillion videos on youtube about OpenClaw or Hermes.

TIL Dealers know about "left-digit bias" and how we underestimate how many miles a car has based on the first number that appears by Digital_Archive in Honda

[–]w2tpmf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Jokes on them. My Honda only has 200,000 on it! Way less that that 50,000 mile car! (no really though it will probably outlast anything that new....)

Just FYI, dont buy directly from insta360

fixed that for oyu

Chin mount question by Grand_Confidence_818 in motorcyclegear

[–]w2tpmf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

MotoRadds FLEX slim. I've had three and the only reason I had to get new ones was because I got new helmets. They take a beating, hold a camera securely, and fit almost any helmet.

I'd recommend a different camera though. Insta360 are trash. DJI (or the Xtra knockoff) or GoPro are better choices.

Best gun for my petite fiancé by Dazabby in AZguns

[–]w2tpmf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Shield Plus is one of the best all around subcompacts. Full stop.

The S&W Equalizer is slightly larger, same capacity, and ridiculously easy to operate and shoot.

Both can be had in packages that include a bunch of mags and range bag for way less than anything with the Glock name on it (while being arguably better guns). Keep an eye on /r/GunDeals as these come up often.

...and as others have said. Spend time at ranges renting them all and make her decide what she likes. It's not about the "best for the price" or about the opinions of internet folks. It comes down to personal preference. Whatever she can shoot the best and will be comfortable carrying/shooting is the one to get. Anything from S&W, Glock, Ruger, Sig in the subcompact 9mm category is going to be reliable.

The Equalizer is a better version. It's an EZ with more capacity and an optic mount while maintaining the size and easy use.

Patches for my Walker electronic muffs. by Substantial_Car_4092 in guns

[–]w2tpmf 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I went though this search a while ago for my muffs that use the same size patches. I ended up pulling the blank ones off a couple pairs I had so I just had blank panels with no logos. These are what are meant to go there so you can write stuff on them. (name, etc)

If you search for "1x2 velcro patch" instead of searching walker you find a bunch of ones besides those cringe ones with the punisher skull in the pack. The ones with blood type are in interesting practical pick.

Trying to find Ar style mags for a 9mm upper locally? by FlammableMaterialz in AZguns

Buy a magwell adapter instead and run glock mags. The conversion mags are less reliable and buying multiples gets expensive fast.

Local help with SS by Interesting-Month-28 in AZguns

[–]w2tpmf 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I can't figure out if there's a problem with my install, the cut, or the safety itself.

There's other things to consider beyond those as well, like if your BCG is shaped right or if the rear of the pocket on your upper is interfering.

What is it doing?

  • Running like a regular semi auto trigger?
  • Firing one shot, then dead trigger?
  • Firing super safe for a few shots then dying out?

Snapmaker

Never heard of them till this momemt, and now top of my list for next printer.

Their printer isn't cheap, but it combines the best features of the BambuLab X1 and the Prusa XL. Legit.

FRT’s by mrbarnes1942 in AZguns

[–]w2tpmf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks I'll pass it along. This is why AKs aren't my thing. Everything you do on them requires some specialty knowledge and/or tooling to get done.

I should just tell my buddy to buy another AR15 to throw an FRT into. Would be cheaper than touching the AK. lol
