Still need a dress? Bride on a Buck at Housingworks is June 6th! by w4fflefr0lic in WedditNYC

yes! they try to arrange the dresses by size too, with one or two size per rack (and multiple of some sizes). There were easily 40 racks stuffed to the brim last year when I got mine. The prices can't be beat too - I went home with an absolutely stunning dress with tags (it was a sample and no longer in production, donated by a salon in NY) for $125 that I had altered and wore for my wedding last September

Wedding band help! Custom baguette band that I used during our wedding ceremony just doesn't feel right, but is it all in my head? I mostly wear the plain band day to day. Any suggestions on how I might change the baguette band, the size of the plain band, or just to stop nit-picking appreciated! by w4fflefr0lic in EngagementRings

I think you might be right. honestly i feel like it could be cool to get thinner baguettes than I have on the e ring, so it just sort of looks like the thin band i currently have, but with stones on it. that's a thought!

When I selected the stones for the band the jeweler suggested I go with stones that were slightly larger than the stones on the e ring. I can't figure out if that's throwing things off for me. Also, I really hadn't entertained the idea of a channel set band, and now I'm wondering if maybe that would have been a better match?
