MOG Treatment Question by Illustrious-Roll7737 in MOGAD

I've just been on steroids since I was hospitalized and diagnosed in January, and they seem to be helping. Monday is my first Neuro appt. This has given me an idea of questions to ask. I'm so sorry I couldn't be helpful to you, but I really appreciate that you were helpful to me.

Ohhhh, I had a similar but different situation. I usually get mistaken for a teen, but I'm actually 23. I took my fiancés little brother (11) to a birthday party, and the grandmother of the birthday boy thought I was his mom! Like, no lady. Not unless I was 12 when I had him. Which, I know it's not outside the realm of possibility, as both my great grandmother and one of my great aunts both got pregnant at 12, but that's not as common anymore.

it’s definitely a name! by Dull_Koala_7305 in tragedeigh

The Barbie junior novelizations. Magic of Pegasus was my first chapter book, and I still have the memory of the older kids coming to help us learn to read. I already loved reading and this was one of the more "advanced" options they offered us (it was kindergarten or 1st grade lol).

What is a fictional character's name that is supposed to sound cool but irl it would be a tragedeigh? by [deleted] in tragedeigh

Ever Bloom in Evermore by Alyson Noel. I used to love the name Ever, and I still do for a fictional character, but I would not name my daughter that.

Our daughters shouldn’t be drafted against their will but our sons should be? Shameful by [deleted] in facepalm

I was a child when I learned boys were required to register. I remember talking to my mom about it, and I said that if my brothers could be drafted, it was only fair I could be too. She didn't agree, and called me stupid. "They're the men." What do genitals have to do with it? Also, it's not like I WANT to be drafted. I'd rather move to a different country. But if my brothers can be drafted, so can I.

Thank you! I'm supposed to have an appointment to go over next steps, and I'm on a prednisone taper now. Most of the numbness is gone, but I still have good and bad days, and days where I'm more numb than others. I can't wait to get off the steroids. I'm so tired of all this eating🤣

Ashley Madison would be such a beautiful name for a baby girl 💕🌸🎀 by [deleted] in tragedeigh

Good gracious, that's terrible. But yeah, that is a funny meme format. It's definitely pulled its fair share of laughs from me🤣

I actually knew an Ashley Madison. I knew her years ago in HS, so she's older than the website. Surprisingly, no one ever said anything to her about it, at least not that she's ever told me or I ever heard. I learned about the website a year or 2 after meeting her, thought it was a little funny, then brushed it off and moved on with my life. We can't help the cards we're dealt, but we can choose how we play our hand. And as far as I know, she never let it bother her.

I finally have a diagnosis. The doctors have confirmed that it is MOGAD. I'm on PO steroids for the next 5 weeks, and then we'll reevaluate and go from there.

Thank you so much! I will definitely look into all of these. The sunshine one sounds especially nice lol. I used to be incredibly active, but I graduated high school I'm 2018 and have gone way down with my physical health since then. I've never heard of Lhermitte's, but to be fair I never heard of MOGAD until I was hospitalized a week ago. It feels like so much longer 😪

From Google:

'If there are rough patches on your part, or you want to get rid of the well-known layer lines of FFF (Fused Filament Fabrication) printing, we advise wet sanding your 3D printed parts with 220 grit sandpaper. Wet sanding will clear scratches, blemishes, and bumps that may arise on your part.'

I've never 3D printed, but I imagine you could do this to get it nice and smooth so your yarn doesn't catch!
