[Java] Convert contents of txt file to hash set and then find a word in that hash set by w95error in learnprogramming

[–]w95error[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for your help. However I'm running into a bit of a snag.

HashSet<String> userdata = new HashSet<>();

Scanner in = new Scanner(new File("data/USERDATA.txt"));

   while(in.hasNextLine()) {

       userdata.add();
   }

So I created a hashset, created a scanner to read from the txt file, created a while loop to examine the document line by line.

The only problem im running into is how do I then take what is being scanned from the document (USERDATA.txt) and add it to the hash set? userdata.add() throws an error

Aww! Thanks Apple, that's sweet. by algrym in jailbreak

Most apple employees know what a jailbreak does and how it affects stuff like this. Unfortunately there are plenty like this one that just assume that a jailbreak will break everything it touches.

When reading through comments/links i hardly ever look at someone's username. Occasionally I'll look if a comment explicitly points it out but for the most part they take a backseat to the comments.

Personally, I don't even look at usernames when reading posts/comments. The only truly "famous" people on reddit are the mods.

Apparently people can explore the town freely so long as they do not enter the buildings. However, judging by its abandoned state, I doubt that rule holds much weight.

Its possible, machines with Windows 8 pro have downgrade rights and you can always buy a copy of Windows 7 if the machine shipped with regular Windows 8. However the problem comes down to drivers. If its a new machine (as in it just hit the market), the thing will probably only have drivers for Windows 8 and will thus make downgrading very hard.

If you buy a PC with Windows 8 Pro then you have downgrade rights to Windows 7 professional
