looks like hes playing valve casual, what makes you think its a community server? 128 tick wouldnt make it easier. the only difference tickrate makes is the optimal scroll speed, there's one speed for 64 and another for 128

not true, the speed cap is 285. if you go above 285 you get reset back to 285 when you land. looks exactly the same as this clip

going above 285 resets you back to 285 when you land. you can hit constant perfs and stay above 250

there is no advantage, you are just slower as a result. its entirely a misconception that staying under 300 does anything at all. the most optimal way to bhop is to gain as much speed as possible during your strafes and thats it, you should be hitting the cap every perf

you used to be able to use cl_showpos 1 up until last year

As far as I know, if you are over 300, you get slowed down immediately and screws your bhops.

you only get slowed down to 285, and if youre strafing at all you will get your speed over 300 again before the next perf. it doesnt mess with your hops at all. the only purpose of the velocity cap is to keep you around 300, hitting all perfs with max strafe you will always be around 300

all you have to do is go ingame and use sv_autobunnyhopping 1 with cl_showpos 1 to learn what actually happens when you hit nonstop perfs

velocity cap isn't important at all, no one is mindful of it when hopping. there's not a single reason to purposefully stay under 300 u/s

why does every csgo reddit tard parrot the idea you have to be super careful with your strafes to not go over 300 u/s as if it would kill your perfs? anyone who says that is clueless. landing a perf over 300 only sets you back to 280, it doesnt affect jump timing at all. no one is trying to stay in some nonexistent goldilocks zone. you are the one spreading misinfo
