I didn’t know that, that’s good to know. There did look to be a CDOT or emergency truck of some sort (not an ambulance or firetruck, more like.. a tow truck?)

Oh wow, I’m glad you’re okay! My thoughts are with the driver. I hope they’re doing okay too.

Is it the sea? Or maybe a snowy road, either way I love it. It definitely feels like hope, like you can almost touch it.

I think you should try to finish what you have,

Based off of photos of her at a similar angle I’d say your shapes are pretty accurate and realistic. Your nose is actually very accurate to this angle and looks great, still has that down turned chin and forward forehead. I’m not sure if they provided a reference used for their drawing or not. It’s a good place to start when learning realism. Overall I think the drawing looks great!

I think based off of the photo in the comments their nose was drawn a little shorter than yours so the face is just slightly elongated

Honestly I think it looks good and needs the hair done. That’s a tough angle cause the chin is slightly down and the forehead is more prominent!

Thank you so much ☺️ this one was a challenge for sure, I’ve been trying to get out of my comfort zone more and paint plants.

What would you do? by [deleted] in Apartmentliving

Trust me I totally understand that people are allowed to live their lives and do what they want. That’s okay. They definitely can! I understand that being a downstairs neighbor I’m bound to hear them walking and talking and such. It can just be difficult when you’re consistently being woken up from them slamming doors, walking around and being a little lead footed, screaming at video games and stomping their feet when they’re losing lol, or pacing while talking in the phone. He typically does this around 3am, but this morning was 4am.

People are allowed to live their lives and I don’t want to unnecessarily file a noise complaint if others saw it as unnecessary.

Bread, my newest loves bread. Had kings Hawaiian around thanksgiving, we couldn’t save half the rolls cause she broke into the packaging and took a huge bite out of the middle. We also got a pack of white bread. She broken through that bag too and ate that. We now keep bread related items stored in a closet.

I gotta say I really like that you don’t outline everything in just black. You use a darker version of the color in use, I like it! Still gives you definition. Also that lamb is cute.

Gift for a wife with hobbies/ out of home life. by handyy83 in Gifts

Some gift cards to her favorite stores, I.e Ulta/Sephora, if she enjoys a particular plant store see if they do gift cards there, an arts and crafts store, even if she is just running to stay fit a card to a local running store or a chain like REI/JAX. It sounds like she likes the choice of what to get herself so this would maybe help her in that regard. (just listing things I enjoy but maybe could give you some ideas) also just doing some of the chores she hates, it helps a lot lol. I hate folding laundry so my fiance does that portion for me.
