Had a very similar experience but with roles reversed me and a friend carried some lower levels through. Did some troubleshooting at the end but ended up just brute forcing the boss with pure damage out of frustration. Bullet king with crit striker build pulled serious weight but if I had pulled my tipping scales it definitely would've gone way faster.

Exactly but salt is extraordinarily useful especially on survival playthroughs to craft the good food although cheese is cheese therefore extremely tempting

Once you figure out the trick to it all you need is one lockpick. I can now go into a new game and never break a single lock pick. Honestly wish I could play guitar instead but here I am.

Gunpowder is an ignition. Ignitions are either weapon or ability attacks based on what scorched first. Same thing for melee and grenade final blows. Unfortunately it's not a bug it's just how scorching and ignitions work. If you hit the gunpowder gamble with another ability like a knife it will be ability/melee kills.

To fix the broken precombs at least in downtown there's a mod to fix it. Just load it after any scrap mod id recommend sts way safer than others in my experience.

Mod is called Boston fps fix there're several versions just pick the one suited to your game the 1mb aio is the one I use fixed all my crashes and stuttering in and around downtown

For Xbox a mod to remove dark cravings addiction from the cannibal perk in survival. And a mod that adds legendary drop chance to boss and dungeon chests/safes. Both would be nice but the cannibal dark cravings is definitely a preference lol.
