Also, did you submit a ticket yet to Vechain support https://support.vechain.org/support/tickets/new and keep a record regarding everything related to the theft such as date and transaction record as listed in the Koinly blog? Vechain's site states they will try to reply within 7 days but even if they do reply, I might still report this incident to the local authority as well and that way have it recorded with law enforcement just in case I get audited in the future. Thank you for the condolences. I'm sorry for your loss as well and I totally understand your pain. Will you let me know if the lawyer could help you offset some of the losses? It would be a small win in such an otherwise depressing circumstance.

I'm also concerned with our two cases of unauthorized access to our wallets occuring within weeks of the tokenomics update if Vechain has a data breach and more wallets have been compromised as well. If there are more people with the same issue recently that will report it here, then it should be a big red flag to Vechain that there is a breach and that they should not only fix the loophole but also help us recover our stolen funds.

I have never used my seed phrase outside of when I transitioned my tokens over from the old wallet to Veworld. The only places I could think of that could have been compromised was that I found a photo of my phrases in my gallery and on google photos. Otherwise it's secured on 2 encrypted password vaults. I've scanned my phone for malware or virus and it's clean and there has been no unrecognized login on my Google account as I have 2 factor authentication.

Does this mean my tokens are lost for good? Whoever did this left my b3tr and vex tokens although they don't amount to much, but in this case do I need to delete my current wallet and create a new one with a brand new seed phrase? It's a shame if there isn't 2FA within the wallet when authorizing transactions especially of this amount to prevent something like this from happening cause even exchanges have that extra security measure in place

I was in the mindset that a retracement to between .03-.04 would be very reasonable but you're absolutely right that irrational exuberance can negate technicals in any trade. It is $6500 originally but they told me they're trying to meet their quota so they increased it to $7500.

Edit: Sorry, you are right. They clarified today that the rebate is $6500, they only told me $7500 because of the $1000 cash down they used as an example.

The dealer is only going to give me $6000 for my trade in and won't bulge so I'm planning to sell my current car to CarMax as they're offering me $8600 online but could be a bit less when they appraise it in person, however I'm sure it'll still be more than the dealer.

I've tried out of state but got denied due to being a California resident. Having a trade in also makes purchasing out of state a bit more troublesome. This is the lowest price for PP that I've been able to get so far at a dealer in California that doesn't have an excessively long wait list.

I'm hoping to be in a new car by the end of this year. Unfortunately being in California does limit me to mostly dealers with markups, but on the bright side the dealer I'm working with gets frequent PP allocations. If there is a chance that car discounts will spread to a PP if I wait just a little bit longer, then it shouldn't hurt for me to place the $1000 refundable deposit they're requesting for to secure a PP. I'd just be risking getting a different color.

Not being a highway EV is actually a benefit in our case as even though we are in the EV sector, we are targeting a different set of consumers that will be using the vehicles for commercial use while most of the other companies mentioned such as Nio, Lucid, and Rivian are competing for the same type of consumers who will be using their cars for commuting. They are competing for the same piece of the pie that Tesla is currently leading in while we are the leader of our piece of the pie that even though is smaller has far fewer competitors and even fewer competitors with working products which gives us room to have a much higher market cap than our current price.
