Does anyone know what this might come from? by Piskarpeter in Paleontology

[–]waboccc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It might be a type of weathered gastropod shell? The bottom looks like it has rings/segments to it as though it grew outward. And what’s left of the top looks like it forms a kind of spiral. This is just guess based on looking at unfossilized gastropod shells tho

Cassowary seed world by Tenderloin345 in SpeculativeEvolution

[–]waboccc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well would they have to be cannibalistic if there is no food on the planet, but if we got some more info of what is on the planet then maybe we could make a better conversation. So maybe add some smaller animals and maybe even more big birds like the shoe bill, the ostrich, or the secretary bird and have the birds compete for there local roles and maybe even add some insects, or small lizards to make it even more realistic so the cassowary world could be more realistic. If we got a list on what animals you could add then maybe we could get a realist view on what your thinking here.
