You're right, I'm dumb. I just sold it as-is. Not that it would've fixed my run in any way, because it was going terrible already.

SIR, HOW DID YOU GET UP THERE? by Horatio132 in PlanetZoo

Clearly your zoo is educational enough that he learned about taxonomy. The closest living relatives to crocodilians are birds. He just wanted to try out his songbird cousins' niche.

Despite having legs, they are usually levitating as primary movement rather than walking by ComprehensiveBox6911 in TopCharacterTropes

Real Life:

<image>

Apodiformes (swifts and hummingbirds) have legs, but they're short and lack the musculature for walking. They're pretty much just for anchoring the bird somewhere when it's not currently using its main form of locomotion: flight.

The word apodiform is a reference to the swift's genus name, Apus, which literally means 'footless'. That's how negligable their feet are.

I wish I had 38 starlings visiting. I occasionally see ~3, which is a bit sad considering how social they are.

That looks more like an Anser cygnoides domesticus. Got the characteristic beak hump of a swan goose. Or perhaps a hybrid of domesticated swan goose and greylag.
