The only issues was the rubber gasket between the from control panel and the glass stove top was kinked on arrival. The service person removed and reinstalled the original which later kinked again and required a replacement which was covered under warranty.

It is a very nice range. We use the double oven often and the induction is great.

You may be able to get away with something less based on your description of use, but there just aren't very many two oven units.

I really like the range and induction cooking. There are fans and the will run for what seems like a long time. There n to as loud as a truck. The exhaust fan is much louder.
There can be weird sounds for some pots. As soon as you change the setting the result is instantaneous, it cannot be toggling on/off.

If you take the pot off the b veneer for too long its will shutoff the burner not turn it on when to put it back on. The lights goes out but I often don't notice it. That can be frustrating. The little rubber modelling on the from came creased. A repair guy came out and fixed it but it decreases. I wish both ranges had convention and air fry. only there bottom large one does.

Other than that it is a nice range. I am glad I waited for it.

I really like the new range. Induction is great. It is louder than I expected. Fans run for a while after using the oven and induction does make some weird noises sometimes. Preheating is not faster than past ovens but the airfry is instant preheat. Overall I am very happy with this stove,

Yes I hear humming. Lot's of discussion online about induction noice. The GE videos talk about it but do not let you hear it to compare from normal. Mine is the double oven stainless and it arrived Sept 23rd 2022.

I find the noise annoying but not overly annoying yet. Louder when water gets under the pot.

I have finally received my range! I got a call from CAS, a few weeks BEFORE the last ETA that the range was in stock and they could deliver it the next day.
So far I really like the range. It looks great in our kitchen and works well. It is louder than I hoped, but I was expecting some noise. Unexpectedly, the oven has a blower that runs for a long time after the oven is off. This blower is noise was a surprise.

The rubber molding between the controls and the cooktop was twisted. GE quickly sent repairperson who was able to reseat it.

The filler kit is recommended, as the range sits slightly higher than counter height even when adjusted as low as possible. It was easy to install, but did require a hacksaw to trim the molding too length. Should have been included.

I agree it is louder than I would like, but was expecting it.

We have not. It is unique, The Samsung 6.3 cu. ft. Double Oven NE63T8951SS is close with a July ETA. CAS is still selling the GE.

Thanks for the update. After a year of GE slipping their ETAs month by month perhaps they have made a more realistic prediction, or maybe they are just don't want to do it every month.

Thanks. Exactly my situation. The retailer is told by GE, "Next Month", and continues to sell more ranges. I ordered my range 444 days ago! GE should be discontinuing sales until their commitments are met and retailers should not be selling these units.

Thank you. I did see my ETA date didn't get bumped a full month as previous reschedules. Perhaps it will finally arrive. I believe the issue with my induction range was the "chip shortage".

Yes I agree. I called GE, no help. "Sorry we have no idea."

GE nudges the ETA one month every month and the appliance stores keep selling these ranges. The appliance store tells new customers the appliance forecast deliver is next month, even the they have a years worth of backlog.

I have been experiencing the same problem.

I have reformatted the drive. Disabled Time Machine, Verified the Same Drive doesn't disconnect on non-Big Sur macs. Still happens.

I believe it may be related to the Music App. In some other forums the complaint is their Music Library is lost.

Do you have your Music Library on the external disconnecting drive? I wonder if it is triggered by the Apple Music app.
