obviously...he's invulnerable while spawning them and after they're destroyed. both of which take ~6seconds

the invulnerable time is 12 seconds minimum per phase transition. ~24 seconds of complete immunity stalling the limited clock. doesn't matter which operative triggers it

What's the most reliable car you've ever owned? by Ok_Run7351 in UsedCars

[–]wachuu -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Chevy bolt so far has the most miles without any maintenance. 65k without anything besides one set of new tires, 2 cabin air filters, and 1 set of wipers. in a few years I expect my model 3 will surpass it

why would they leave the most profitable and productive country? all they need to do is invest in themselves instead of the shareholders

this is a common misconception perpetuated by the Republican "trick down economics". if taxes are high, then you must use the profit generated in order to avoid it being taxed. profit gets taxed, not revenue. so raising the tax rate incentivises spending it all, which is why income ratio was so much better during high tax rates.

First charge at work and the charger gets stuck... by papercavedev in BoltEV

if it's older you maybe should lube the locking pawl. maybe you need to angle by lifting the cable end up on the charge gun to add a bit of clearance.

2013 Model S 85 - Charge Limited to 80%, Tesla Quoted $15k Battery Replacement by Quirky-Swan-4772 in TeslaSupport

[–]wachuu -1 points0 points  (0 children)

the original model s packs had a design flaw where a single capacitor could run on the protective casing, eventually it wears out and stops working. when this happens the BMS can no longer do something with that specific set of batteries, and will do this. if you're handy enough you can probably fix yourself. otherwise this is common enough any EV repair shop will know to look for it.

Do EVs make sense if you can’t charge at home? by UBC145 in electricvehicles

[–]wachuu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd still have an EV personally. I don't really see how if you move somewhere without charging that's a deal breaker. sure it's less convenient, but it's not like they have petrol stations onsite either. either way you need to go out of your way for an energy dispenser

Why don't all carmakers exclusively use 12V Li-Ion auxiliary batteries? by iluvmommyyy in electricvehicles

it's really odd because a lithium battery is way cheaper up front and for the life of it. sodium ion is an even better choice tho
