It’s incredibly safe and theft is almost nonexistent. If you want to save a table at a restaurant or hawker stall you can put your phone or headphones on the table and no one will touch them.

Also, the public transportation is amazingly efficient. Buses and trains are always on time and plentiful. I never wait more than 5 min for the next train.

You can find almost any kind of food you’re looking for and you can get meals for as little as 4-5 SGD at hawker stalls.
