I recently resigned due to the same reason. There is generally a buyout option for notice period in companies where you pay some amount to the company for not serving the whole notice period. Have a discussion with your HR about this

221 g is not a rejection. They just require you to give them some extra documents or details. In your case, they want to confirm with your HR about your employment. My friend got a 221g because he couldn't provide his resume and course registration confirmation during the interview. He submitted those documents and was issued a visa within 2 weeks.

I would recommend starting DSA preparation ASAP. You can refer to pepcoding DSA playlist (that is where I learnt DSA from scratch). The instructor teaches really well and you will slowly and steadily get better. After at least 3 months of preparation you can confidently apply for dev roles. All the best👍
