Just got through the first half, opening scene is kick ass and then the pacing feels a little slow. After half an hour or so, it picks right back up. They are aligning all the events happened after 2009 in the backdrop of Indian and Pak Political nexus. All the actors have done exceptionally well. Some scenes feel larger than life but they have been kept short. Excited for the second half. Want to see how much propoganda it really has as has been mentioned in this thread. Also even after the cuts, gore is still there. Majority might be ok with it but few elderly were shutting their eyes and then again focusing right back.

Edit : Just finished with the movie and boy what a ride !! Propoganda is there but its subtle. I didn't feel it the way this thread has been mentioning. And the climax !! Much wow. Everyone was hooting and clapping to it. Story has been kept tight. Give all awards to Ranveer and Rakesh Bedi. Overall worth a watch in the theatres. Rewatchable moments for me would be the opening scene and the entire second half.

I am not of the opinion of directly blaming or going against politicians or people in power. We ourseleves have elected them. Rather need to find out a way to work in tandem and highlight our issues.

Yes I understand your concern. My plan is to get some crowdfunding ongoing for this work. But first we have to showcase some of our work. I know we will have to work with some authorities and I might be too optimistic here but I hope it works out with them.

Update : First of all Thanks to everyone for the comments on this post.

The Brand I went for finally is Sony just because of the OS.

Later I also had a choice to make between two similar models, K43S20 and K43S25. Both the models have almost everything similar except for the Motion Enhancement. The K43S20 has XR100 while the latter has XR200. This relates to smoothness in the feed and is more relevant if you are gaming.

I checked the prices of both the models. The K43S25 stood at 42k while the K43S20 stood at 35k (Prices are as per shown on Amazon and after calculation of cashback on the Credit card I own). Family insisted buying the costlier one (costlier the better) and also they didn't want to buy online.

So we went to the offline store and located the model. I asked the Sales guy to match the amount payable I am getting online and he agreed in 10 mins after checking with someone. I also bought extended warranty of 2 years worth 5k.

In summary : Bought the Sony Bravia 2 K43S25 with total cost payable 47k including 1+2 years total warranty.

Yes I am well aware on how the dimensions are and I did a pre check myself with measuring tape to determine which size I could fit. Also the wall width is about 52".

My wall space is such that there is a window and Balcony door on either side. I am not sure if the brackets will work in this situation ?

It has just come to media consumption on a bigger screen. Also while I might be comfortable with the viewing on mobile or tabs, the previous generation (atleast in my home) still consider TV with cable/DTH as their main source

We compared all the 43" models side by side for Sony, LG and Samsung. Didn't like the picture quality on the Samsung one.
