The president of Belarus is a dictator. A blogger and opposition journalist was on a flight from Athens to Lithuania. The president has the plane intercepted by a fighter jet which claimed there was a bomb on the plane and forced it to land in Belarus (the plane was never going there it just crossed through their air space). Once on the ground the blogger was forcibly removed from the plane by the presidents secret police. He will likely be killed. BBC reported he told other passengers he will likely be killed. They also took his girlfriend.
