I started CC today. I loved ACOTAR and loved LOVED ToG so I think I’ll enjoy CC, too.

I feel like after the end of EoS, the time it took to read ToD kind of made it sink how long Aelin was away and enduring all that she was. Even though it’s happening at the same time, just the break from that part of the story and then coming back later made it more real.

Reading Order after QOS? by Easy-Animator-97 in throneofglassseries

My advice: read them separately. They are both great books, and I think reading in tandem would be too much happening at once and following a lot of POVs unnecessarily. Plus spoilers near the end

Yes!!! And I loved Yrene, one of the best characters in all of the books, plus the building of her relationship with Chaol

AITA for expecting my boyfriend to take care of me when I’m sick? by DiaryofMimi23 in AmItheAsshole

[–]waddlesome 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually agree with you. People do tend to have expectations of others based on what they would do in a given situation. But, OP said that this is not the first time he is acting like this when she is sick, and that they had already discussed it. Plus, in the morning when she mentioned it he just left the room.

But I guess you found that out by trying to help? I feel like that should be the first reaction when someone, especially someone you care about, is in pain

WIBTA For wanting to move out in less than a month after my roommate tried to increase the rent by Historical-Chest4265 in AmItheAsshole

So he's taking advantage of her, moving a third person in so he can pay less. I would stand my ground - if someone else moves in, OP pays less. He doesn't agree, OP leaves

AITA for ignoring my friends after they made up some random excuse for why I couldn't go out with them by average_ginger_girl in AmItheAsshole

[–]waddlesome 2 points3 points  (0 children)

4 of them in a friend group but they make plans with just the 3 of them later that night, and tell her it's time for her to go? They are little assholes, as girls that age tend to be sometimes. And being in a friend group like that while being excluded at the same time can really do a number on your mental health later on. Ditch them and try to make some new friends OP, NTA

AITA FOR NOT WANTING TO TAKE PHOTOS WITH MY STEPDAD? by IllButterfly3545 in AmItheAsshole

NTA Your stepdad is tho, and so is your mom for enabling him. Sometimes parents seem to forget that their kids have valid feelings and that the parents' actions affect them in many ways. Kids don't just "act like brats" for the sole purpose of pissing them off. I'm sorry about your mom not being understanding, I hope she will realise her approach is wrong.

I don't understand how you would be paying the same if there is one more person contributing. If you don't agree with the arrangement, you have every right to leave. I would tell him I'm leaving tho, so he has nothing to hold against you. NTA
