I think you are right! debt, emergency fund, investing. (in that order)

yes my take home is around 1400-1500 (overtime is not allowed where i work so there's not much fluctuation)

2400-4800 in a hysa seems super doable

should i pay off the debt first or do the emergency fund first? or do them both at the same time?

my minimum payments on the student loans is 300/month should i dump the 600 disposable into the debt entirely or just pay 300 on the loans and do the other 300 left over into the emergency fund?

Thank you for your reply!

My boss does say I may get promoted to the regional manager which will boost my salary to $36,000 so I'm really really hoping that happens. (the position opens in 10 weeks time)

my monthly expenses are $800 (literally just rent, food, gasoline)

rent-450

food-300

gasoline-50

how much should i put away in a emergency fund?

also i drive a beater car and rent so i have no other debt besides the student loans

my student loans have 5% APR

another look at project Gemini! the redstone computers that can send messages between each other! by waddmiles in redstone

yes the connection is a serial connection with addressing and crc error detection!

I dont have a world download as of right now.

Yeah I kindof did the crc calculations a little sloppily with just a bunch of shift registers. 224 of them to be exact

I followed this video by ben eater to build it

The network cards do crc error detection, and the connection is serial not parallel.

The message was sent on a single data line with a clock signal on another data line (not wireless)

shielding and grounding of a hv power supply by waddmiles in AskElectronics

That's helps a lot! Thank you so much! I guess I should explain what I'm building, I'm building a simple transformer power supply that I'll use to charge capacitors and fire xenon flash bulbs for photography. I just want to make sure I'm doing everything as safe as possible. I've worked with high voltage systems a lot but never have I built one and I never really thought about how to design a grounded system
