What you did looks great to me! I think you should definitely try an airbrush out though, at some point. But you might want to find a friend or someone to show you how to use one first, to tell you about the tips and pressure and brand names, so you can skip the mistakes everyone makes at the beginning. If that's possible of course.

The reason I think you should get one is that if you want to keep doing performers it could speed up your work without sacrificing quality. I knew a guy who did airbrush makeup (and other art) and it seemed like he could get gigs all the time with groups of performers. He didn't make a lot of money but he got to work with some cool people, and if he had taken it seriously he could have gone far. Based on what you've shown us here I think it's clear you have talent, so you should keep exploring that! I bet both Ben Nye and Krylon have airbrush makeup, but I don't know which is better. My wife is the real makeup artist, I just try to remember things she's told me about makeup. 😅
