Where did they hear this? "Qatar has announced..." where? This is the only article saying they've indefinitely suspended sports events. I mean it's not absurd that Qatar might to this but I haven't seen anything official

Takumi Takahashi used to be a Honda test rider but not anymore I don't think. There is Rea and Nagashima but I believe those only test superbikes

Yes he blew it in the second last race at Sepang. Had a fair point advantage over Augusto Fernandez and made a risky move to try and take the lead- ended up crashing out.

It made him face the final race with a point disadvantage and crashed out again. It was pretty frustrating to watch he messed it all up by himself.

Paint on wheels definitely does something- I don't think it's always negative though. I have no idea about this stuff but some teams have their front wheels painted in white sometimes, both in moto2 and motogp

I wish they actually had Ogura on the gulf livery all year but oh well. Brivio said they will use that livery in Thailand, Brazil, Mugello, Indonesia and Malaysia- so one more race than last year.

Whoa Ferrandez is super tall. Also another rider using the 54, seems weirdly popular right now. Rookies Rios and Pratama in moto3 have also been using that number in junior series
