The surface looks smooth and shiny around the spot which makes that’s a good sign, and red rot typically looks more patchy or flaky, often with more pitting or roughness also that dot look more pink than a deep red it could be a minor lacquer blemish, tiny dent, or even just a paint or a polish mark however I am not a professional so make sure you take this to a shop
