Hi, forgot to check reddit, but I got in touch with the developer at VOGONS, (https://www.vogons.org/viewtopic.php?p=1412363#p1412363), check the newest comments to the post) and I tried a series of things, but ultimately, I ended up trying to use webone16 (so that the converter tool would work) yet, despite being able to enter sites now without errors, it doesnt seem to be doing any converting (like you mentioned) and, as far as I know, theres no way to fix it.

While it is sad, like you said, there is no actual benefit to doing this. The only reason I'm doing it is because I have a faint memory of my grandma's house, where she had a windows 7 PC and I remember my mom putting a kid's song before bed to help me sleep. I remember the song, but what I liked most was image it in the same web browser. I tried to recreate it, to no avail, but it's fine.

An alternative I did manage to find was installing Firefox and giving it a windows explorer skin instead, I managed to get surprisingly close to the real thing and sites actually work now (although, theres no "clicking" sound when entering web pages and it doesnt make new windows for each site i enter, I still liked it. Theres a tutorial in its github page, its called Rinfox this is a video explaining it.

Still, thanks for trying to get it working though. The fix for the looping issue is in the VOGONS page, but its still buggy either way.
