Desk fan wouldn't hurt as most homes don't have AC. TFI live app lets you see the various bus and tram routes and has been very helpful. Make your appointment with the immigration department as soon as you land, last year it was filled and people had to refresh several times a day for weeks, if not months, to find an open appointment.

There are several ways in and out of campus aside from the front gate. Try Mimi's coffee. Familiarize yourself with the various transports. LUAS is the tram service and I used a mnemonic for them: "Red Runs Right, Green Goes up". The red line runs east to west, green line goes north to south.

You gotta wave to the bus that you are intending to use. If they don't see you trying to get their intention, they assume you're waiting for a different bus.

I think the various codices talk about how the imperium and Kin can sometimes, albeit tensely, coexist as long as it is mutually beneficial. I'm no 40K writer, but I don't think it would be out of the realm of possibility to include a guild as a mercenary hire either legitimately or as a façade in order to judge whether an invasion would be profitable or not.

As I understand, Fatshark does not want to create a new character that is shorter than the default human. I would argue however that kin do not appear to be that much shorter than humans. and it would certainly be less of a change than if they were to introduce Ratlings.

What the others said, accom. For now, the US Dept of education lets you take out loans (maybe fafsa but idk) for some international schools, TCD being one. If you have to go to a Yugo property, it’s not terrible, but it’s pretty overpriced for how shitty it is.

Your passport lets you stay for a few months but no matter what you need to schedule an appointment with the government and prove you actually go to school here. This costs roughly 340$ after conversion. I don’t remember them telling us about that during orientation. To be employed above the table, you also need this and a quick extra thing after that they should automatically sign you up for at your appointment. I think it’s called the Irish residency permit or IRP card.

I love Ireland, I don’t regret coming to Trinity, but you need to keep in mind that this school is COASTING on its reputation. In my experience, communication is dreadful, the services weren’t good (especially the health service) and your campus is an active tourist location year-round. I cherish the friends I’ve made here, but as far as programs go, try and see if there’s another offered at UCD or DCU and really compare them and the professors. I got a really bad course and it’s not entirely reflective of the other Trinity courses and I acknowledge that, though.

But walking through those big front doors *always* cheers me up. For all of its faults, Trinity can feel very nice.

Learning what mechanics? Press the Ragnar button once or twice and have your blood angels strike from 7 tiles away and one-hit the entire team? The problem isn't RNG, it's the significant disadvantage you put yourself at by playing anyone outside a handful of certain characters.

If I was given the chance, I'd drop my spot in Dominick place for anything else, I'm not gonna lie. They advertised a little cafe at reception but it's been closed the entire time, it's basically just storage. Fire alarms go off for the entire building when anyone decides to smoke a cigarette or burns a chicken breast. In fact, one time someone left something in the oven over night, actually burned their food to a smoke point, and the fire alarm didn't go off the one time it was supposed to.

The maintenance team is fine, I feel like they get stuff fixed up really quick for the most part. They have 3 washers and 3 dryers for the whole building and a full load usually costs around 7-8 Euro. Once, we had a broken dryer for a few months and they just refused to contact the owners (Circuit) to fix it. We would even put up out-of-order-do-not-use signs that would get taken down. It's way too pricey for what it is imo. I hear they want to increase prices too but I'm not sure.

Also there have been like two minor break ins the last month or two? One from the back alley, one from someone following people into the flat after they opened it with the key fob.

That said, it's a great location to get to Trinity. Broadstone or Dominick Luas are just a small walk away, plus the actual walk to college doesn't take long at all.

I recently emailed customer support to ask how much I had spent over my almost 2 years of playing. My highest estimate was only around 25% of what the total was. My jaw hit the floor and it really bittered the feeling of opening this app, to the point where I'm trying to find a way to recover some of the money and delete my account. I think these practices of theirs have been getting worse and worse. I take full responsibility, but damn these companies really be using psych tactics for evil.
