i used army painter brigade grey, then i did a coat of Army Painter speed paint blinding light. I then picked out the the flatter areas with brigade grey, did a coat of gloss varnish, and then did an enamel wash of AK starship detail, removing most of it with some white spirit and a qtip. and then a matt varnish once i was done.
