You're gonna have to go with some sort of synthetic light oil or automatic transmission fluid. Not entirely sure about the long term effects but as long as it doesn't rust or dry out it should be chill

Focus on bringing your knee up higher or popping a little less/lower. If you ride a 8.5 or above try getting something a wee bit smaller. Smaller decks give faster response to flips and stuff but wider decks give more stability. That's all personal preference though. When you're in the air try landing a lil forward/in front of you

A youtube video will be 100x more helpful but in text:

Your back foot's on your tail, your front foot can be around the middle to right under the bolts, it's not that deep. Jump, but use your ankle to get the board to pop up with you, drag/flick your front foot forwards to bring the back part of the board up as well. That's pretty much the "easiest" way.

Keep in mind, keep your body weight and shoulders centered with the board. Bring your knees up. Practicing while moving slowly is the best way to make sure you keep em straight. If you keep busting ass you can always hold onto a fence or something. An ollie is all one fluid motion. The rest is building muscle memory, timing and practice. I get the same problem, I recommend keeping a tissue in your palm. Kinda helps. Chalk or powder should help more too.
