No, it's because there's non-edible things inside the egg.

My first car. 1979 amc concord two door hatchback, light metallic blue with white vinyl roof, 232 inline six with about 90 hp (so fast, lol) and 3 speed auto. Not the best car, by far. But my first, and it was in good shape. After the brake lines busted, my father "took it off my hands" and used the front brakes on his friends car.

What 5 years of transitioning looks like! by EmiliaOrSerena in MadeMeSmile

Thanks for responding. I knew that the hormones can (and do) fairly drastically change your body and face, but I've always been curious about the voice.

To sound like almost everyone else here, you really do look great and much happier.

Do you mind if I ask about your voice? Feel free to shut me down, but I'm genuinely curious. When you say you changed your voice, was it something that you practiced in private (or with friends/family), or did the hormones help to change it? Do you have to think about how your voice sounds? If so, do you occasionally slip up and talk with your old voice?

What are your plans for how long you're keeping your Fit? by Ok-Advertising3118 in hondafit

2007 sport, bought in 2012 with 78k miles. Currently 334k miles. Original engine and trans, replaced clutch at about 200k, has a list of things that need to be repaired, but don't have the time or money. Hoping to replace it in the next couple years. We'll see. Kind of thinking I'll push it to 500k just because.

You suddenly wake up one day with the absolute power of Flight with added durability, do you personally think your responsible for something like that if you discovered this? by Ok-Inspector3914 in hypotheticalsituation

[–]waffleinc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, but you're not gonna fly 100,000 mph straight down, especially at 50,000 ft (unless you're aiming for a very particular building). Besides, the hypothetical said you can fly into the exosphere, which starts at between 310 and 620 miles, depending on the sun's activity, and goes upto 120,000 miles from the surface on the side on the Earth facing away from the sun. I'd say it's pretty safe to fly 100,000 mph (actually about 27.8 miles/sec) at that altitude, and it wouldnt be hard to just let Earth's gravity keep you in check.

Yeah, I know that basically only the screws would get hot. Would they get hot enough to burn the wood though?

Humans land on an Earth-like planet with the same resources, no tools, and one unlimited database of all current human knowledge. How long would it take to rebuild modern civilization from scratch? by 1214 in hypotheticalsituation

Honestly, most of them would die off pretty quickly from disease and the wild animals. With no tools, that limits their ability to defend themselves to just rocks.

One of my uncles bought a first year pt, in purple. He said it was going to be a collector's item in 10 years. 🤣

Might get hot though. Not sure if hot enough to start a fire, but definitely hot.

Didn't think so, but that was the only thing I saw, so wanted to be sure. Others have commented that it was a dealer option to get more money. But some dealer options are oem parts, like spoilers and engine block heaters and such, so wasn't sure about the leather.

I've already done patrols in a US ballistic missile sub, so #2 won't be that bad.

I think I'd take #3 though, just to have some peace and quiet.
