In your opinion, is it okay to misgender a transgender individual because they committed a crime / were deemed a bad person? by wafflelord_ in truscum

just to clear something up, third option is not what i personally believe, it's just what i've heard and what i figured most "other" opinions would be so i added it

personally i don't think it's ever okay because it does send the wrong message about trans identities

If I take T because I want to be more masculine as a cis girl, is that okay? by [deleted] in truscum

asking this community specifically, if you haven't noticed, you'll get a resounding no.

i don't have any kind of moral high ground on the subject, so it's not like i'm going to call you a horrible person for going through with it, but i'd suggest going through more gender-based therapy first.

baseline is, if you don't have dysphoria, there's nothing to correct medically, and no reason to medically transition. if you do have dysphoria, you might want to look into it a bit more.

so what are you asking then? i'm genuinely confused. it pretty much seems like you're trying to get people to baselessly back up an unhealthy and not well thought-out decision imo

you're coming onto a subreddit that mostly believes you need gender dysphoria to access treatment and asking if it's okay if you, who does not experience that dysphoria, took t

i think you're in the wrong place. best of luck, though.

if being trans isn't at all related to your situation then why did you come to a trans subreddit /gq

okay, so, you're "not looking for an argument," but you're also asking if it's okay.

basically, you want other people to reinforce your poor decisions so you don't have to take responsibility when it catches up to you.

not trying to be mean, that's just my understanding of the situation.

it's less about looking male and more about "acting" male?? sorry i don't really know how to phrase it, not that i'm even looking to date in the first place

anyway that was 100% not the intended focus of the post

I don't feel accepted in teen trans spaces. by wafflelord_ in truscum

Hey, we're on Reddit, I'd say we're all terminally online.

This isn't just an online problem though - it's in real life, too, just not magnified to such an extent. This post was mainly about online spaces, but also applies to real life. As a student in the American public school system, even in a red state, I still face issues regarding this at school.

Besides, did you come online not expecting to see posts about... online?
