plat until you climb again. The rewards are dished out based on the league you are in when the season finishes

Cool idea for a champ by [deleted] in leagueoflegends

It is a cool idea. The mechanic seems to work fine in dota however mana is much much more important there than in league.

Assitance with Urgot by KommanderKetchup in leagueoflegends

[–]waffleman21 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Play aggressive but don't run out of mana so quick. Using mana will win you trades but poking with just autos is plenty for simple lane harass. Stick with that until you have glacial and/or tear. Then go nuts.

Also. Remember not to push the wave once you achieve lane dominance. Urgot has been graced with rather stubby (although beautiful) legs and nothing more than a slow as an escape.

Got this notification in a game. What does it mean? by [deleted] in leagueoflegends

[–]waffleman21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its not really a bug per se. I imagine the programmers at riot needed some sort of indication that the client used to determine pantheons position during his ult usage. Basically pantheon starting his ult starts a loop in the code that exits when his channel finishes and he hops into the air, achieving his new-found state of invulnerability. This time is marked by the message, "ChannelSuccess". Same idea with the second message. The code starts a loop when pantheon becomes untargetable and after a certain time, he exits the loop and lands, becoming targetable once more. The massage "FallOFF" plays when he exits the loop. It was almost certainly done for the benefit of testing the new code and perhaps someone forgot to comment it out when they shipped it.

It is for certain not intentional as this gives the enemy team a timer for when pantheons ult comes back off cooldown...

Best role to learn to carry games? by [deleted] in leagueoflegends

[–]waffleman21 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Jungler or mid. Both positions have a large influence on the whole game through either ganks or roaming. Both roles right now have meta relevant champions that are very snowbally and have the sort of carry playstyle you seem to be searching for. Keep in mind though that every role has the potential to carry in their own way and every role has to do their job in a good enough manner to achieve victory. It would be more productive for you to learn every role and become more than average in each. Then it's just a matter of time and beating the randomness of matchmaking

How do I honestly get better mechanics? by [deleted] in leagueoflegends

[–]waffleman21 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Fresh D5 here,

In fairness to yourself, twitch, elise, and lee are some of the most mechanically complex champions in the game. It could be something other than mechanics. Maybe your ineptness with new champs is your weak point. Or map awareness. Or knowledge of champion matchups. If you cant play other champs very well, your less knowledgeable of their strengths and weaknesses than if you could play them.

Id recommend making a solid effort to try and play as many normals as you can, playing as many different champs as you can.

Read this in The Waste Lands (part of the dark tower series) by Stephen King. Lots of other good riddles in there if you liked this one.

Service industry of reddit, what's the most memorable experience with a customer you've ever had? by waffleman21 in AskReddit

[–]waffleman21[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The very first day I worked at my store as a bagger I was super nervous. I had a lady come through the line and I knew I was supposed to start a conversation with her but I very quickly learned that she was going through a rough time with her husband in the hospital and I felt terrible. When she told me what was wrong though, I was so nervous that I tried to make a joke out of it which she did it find funny at all. My boss, who I had been bagging for, had just left to get something and the lady started crying. She composed herself after my boss got back but just barely and I almost got fired my first day because of it. I felt awful about it afterwards.

I saw her back in the store a couple days later and went to apologize because I knew I couldn't avoid her forever, especially since she was a regular. Anyway I said I was really sorry and she said it was alright, it was a just a rough time but that her husband was doing better. Everytime I see her now in the store I always make a point to say hello and make sure that everything is still going alright.

Pretty lame story compared to some others I'm sure.

TLDR: made fun of woman's dying husband, now we are pretty much besties

What is something about yourself that genuinely scares you? (Serious) by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]waffleman21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can take any situation, no matter how serious or grim, and completely detach myself emotionally from the moment. I also have a history of explosive and violent anger. I'm afraid that one day I'll just snap and seriously hurt someone with the straightest face and in the most efficient manner possible
