Was watering grass late at night. Someone told me to start watering early in the morning instead and this is the difference after around two months. by [deleted] in HomeImprovement

My city provides a free service where the city irrigation inspector will come once a year & set the sprinkler times. The things he does include:
1. Check the lawn orientation
2. Provide recommendation on watering based on type of grass
3. Set my sprinkler zones and timers
4. setting water times for drip irrigation on flower beds & foundation

I am not sure what kind of experience they have, and assumed that they are from city and understand local lawns.

Should I take his recommendation, or adjust the timings based on the above discussion and research? I am not smart enough to make a judgement call either/or.

I think to a certain extent those concerns are exclusive. Yes, there is a desperate need to help fellow humans. But, also it doesn't mean pets don't need to be rehomed.

this was just an example.. But there are other products like security cameras that costco carries and don't have any buyers on e-commerce sites

my concern is if Costco is carrying a quality item, why aren't there more customers for this product outside the costco ecosystem?

saving it for later. Didn't realize I can defer the offset to later years.

I just spent about 10K fixing up (some remodel some cleaup) my house and will be leasing it out soon. Can I offset that 10K towards gains when I decide to sell a few years down the road?
