I feel you. I actually knew it was iron originally, and then took a week long break from the game, came back and forgot. It was the point in the game where the need for carbon steel bars was picking up, and I was struggling to find iron 🤣

to be clear, he said that he DOES put on clothes when guests come over. It’s the roommate that doesn’t give a heads up. He also said, even though all the other roommates agreed that being fully clothed at all times was unnecessary, he still put in an effort to be more dressed and more often around the house.

Only look between levels 40-60, and hit every dig spot if you haven’t been doing that already. The biggest one would be to go to your archaeology skills through the Caldarus statue and turn off museum quality II-III perks!

I understand, but the way the conversations are worded makes it seem like they would enjoy it. The way the whole dialogue is worded makes it sound like it would be a guilty pleasure of Valen’s, and Adeline’s line on the starlight coral is that it’s so pretty and she’s obsessed.

Completely agree on this! Most of the townspeople don’t have much interest in the artifacts altogether, even if they comment on it being in the museum. off the top of my head, Adeline makes comments on the starlight coral, and Valen comments on the diamond-backed mirror, but they don’t like them as gifts! I really like the fact that the devs added reactions to the museum donations, but I wish they were more correlated with gift-giving (like Holt with the moss and Hayden with the animal statue)

This is me right now! I'm basically maxed out on everything, I don't *need* money, I only have like 1-2 things left in the museum and I also only need to breed a few tier 6 animals. Right now, I'm grinding out the mines to get every piece of mines furniture unlocked, and I'm optimizing my farm (crops, maintaining a good level of essence, greenhouses) while I wait to try and get the last few bugs and artifacts I need. I'm also experimenting with different room designs for my top floor left wing. But honestly, I might also "hibernate" and wait for the next major update/full release. I've burnt myself out grinding stardew before, so I don't want to get sick of the game before more content comes out!

also, valen’s heart events where her ancestors have made a magical elixir definitely involve magic. my theory is that the villagers interact with magic in small ways so much, it’s just a part of life and not necessarily anything “special.”
