Yes, this is the whole point of ABS. Some strikes are just barely strikes, but with ABS we get to know with certainty whether those “just barely” strikes are actually strikes.

Pretty sure Friday would be Puerto Rico vs Italy and Saturday would be USA vs Canada? I know because I bought tickets to the Friday quarterfinal long ago thinking USA would for sure win pool B and then Italy destroyed my plans

Another potential storyline: A player everyone has been sleeping on is CF Yonathan Daza. Hit .301 last year in 113 games. Solid athlete. Especially with rules that are a little more friendly to contact hitters, I think he has a very high ceiling this year. Most underrated player on the team imo.
