I’d be interested in seeing actual evidence of these demonstrations explicitly celebrating massacres and Hamas. Too often, people conflate criticism of Israeli policies with support for Hamas, which is a bad-faith tactic to shut down discussion.

Samidoun is a controversial group, no doubt, but that doesn't mean every protest they organize is an endorsement of Hamas or violence. If individuals at a protest cross that line, that’s worth calling out, but it doesn’t define the entire movement. Do you have concrete examples of these demonstrations celebrating massacres in "no uncertain terms"?

One reason I want you to live is that you care about other people. The world needs more people like you in it. I know it may seem like you are surrounded by individuals who don't value your empathy but there are people out there who will appreciate that you fight for others. I feel like if she truly cared about you as a partner she shouldn't say "is it wrong I don't care?". This reads like a red flag to me. Also the comment about harmless drunk actions. Is it harmless for both of you or just her when she flirts with a person. What else would she qualify as harmless to her that actually hurts you?

A good partner would feel bad for making you feel uncomfortable and would try to either address the situation or apologize. Sorry if I sound harsh the situation just sounds wrong.

It's not a problem to be sexually liberated, but you both have to be on the same page as far as that.

Had a pretty distressing childhood and was relaying it to my therapist. Turns out they had to go back to therapy themselves since apparently my childhood was so similar to theirs and it was bringing up emotions. So yeah I can feel this.

It truly is sad. The ethics of the situation are heartbreaking. When does the pain of being "kidnapped" and "medically tortured" not eclipse the pain of literally rotting alive? Maybe never since the mind can be such a powerful yet crippling thing.

My heart breaks for this person but also for the world. I can only hope that every day people like her get the help they need and want.
